Q: Who puts on the festival?

A: The Brushy Mountain Apple Festival is put on by the Brushy Mountain Ruritan Club.

Q: What do you do with the proceeds?

A: The Brushy Mountain Ruritan club uses the proceeds to better our community. We provide Scholarships, lifelines for the elderly on the Brushy Mountain, benevolent endeavors for the Brushy Mountain community like wheelchair ramps, assistance to burn-out victims or natural and medical emergencies, and many charitable contributions to other non-profit groups in Wilkes County. And that is just to name a few.

Q: Can I buy local apples there?

A: Yes all of our apple vendors are from the Brushy Mountain area. You will find the apple sellers conveniently located at the entrances and exits.

Q: Is there parking for disabled?

A: Yes there is a lot off of the CBD loop that has Handicap parking. You must display your Handicap pass or have Handicap license plates to park there. Keep in mind that North Wilkesboro is not level in many locations.
